This site’s main focus is on web design and development, additionally it may reflect some info which its author may find noteworthy, primarily (but not limited to) things of IT nature, such as digital imaging, new technologies and games.
About the author
Since ever obtaining his masters degree in computer science at Queensland University of Technology (Brisbane, AUS), Alex Golovanov took career path in Web Development. He is a developer who likes to get his hands deep in code and at the same time cannot live without creating esthetically pleasing web interfaces.
Alex uses LAMP environment for the back-end, with preference to PHP5. He is a big supporter of MVC approach and commonly uses it in his projects.
Alex crafts his front end interfaces using semantic markup, decorates them with CSS and applies additional behavior with JavaScript, in unobtrusive way, of course. As far as JavaScript development is concerned, he is particularly fond of Prototype framework.
